Member Comments: I got a call from the provider a day after buying my coupon. He asked exactly what i needed and if i could send him pictures. I sent the pictures and he informed me that my repairs would cost a little more since the patches to be made were going to be slightly bigger than normal. They showed up on time for service on our agreed upon date and began analyzing the situation immediately. They were clean and fast and the patches look great. I think they are even more solid than what was originally in those places. I plan on using them for my next project of this type for removal of acoustic ceiling popcorn. Member Comments: After having a plumber repair a leak from the upstairs shower fixture, an asbestos abatement company remove some old drywall compound and a flood restoration company dry out the flooded ceiling and wall spaces, I was finally ready to replace the drywall. After checking with three firms, I settled on Oceanside Drywall based on their responsiveness and price. In spite of being slightly outside their service area, they took the job, squeezed me into a weekend appointment and honored their Angie's List coupon. In all communications Chris was very professional and customer-focused - as you would expect from a family business. His team showed up on time each day and did a great job with the restoration. They even moved some furniture and dismounted a ceiling fan at no extra charge. After their repairs, there was no visible evidence of a seam. Member Comments: Due to a major water damage, the walls of my home had to be cut up to 4 feet from the ground. This was done by another emergency restoration team. We had to get these wall fixed and read the reviews about the Oceanside drywall. The reviews were good and we called them. The guy promptly came next day and had a quick view of the home and gave an estimate. I took estimates from two other contractors and this one was the most reasonable estimate. They fixed a schedule and arrived on time. The guys were extremely professional. They are experts at what they do. I couldn't find a single flaw in their work. They had a solution for every problem. They worked for 4 days and after looking at their first days work, I never even monitored them. They fixed everything perfectly. There was one part of the wall where I had to get the plumbing fixed first before the drywall. They were flexible enough and obliged to come at a later date and fix it. If every contractor does their work like what these guys do, home restoration/remodeling would be a very good experience. Thanks to the entire team (Chris, Adrian, Jeff...) Member Comments: Renters moved out after a 60 days notice on Wed 8/10. After owning this townhouse for decades, we decided it was time to upgrade before we find new renters. One of the upgrade decisions was to remove our "Popcorn ceiling". So we began contacting several companies on a Thursday afternoon. Chris (Oceanside Drywall) was the first to respond with a price and job commitment to start the next day. The work began on Sat and was completed on Sunday. Everything exceeded our expectations. They also left everything very clean. Our "Popcorn 1960's ceilings were scraped and re-textured. Chris insured he and the team also scraped and cleaned the ceilings inside the closets and cabinets. Oceanside Drywall additionally identified a solution for our crawl space access in the hall ceiling. He built a solid foundation that is now a much cleaner look and function. While the work was being completed, several times Chris sent photos of progress. After Oceanside Drywall was well underway we actually did received other quotes but Oceanside Drywall was a better price and timely. It was great to know our first decision was the best. They installed eight 4x8 panels side by side by the ocean where twenty years of ocean air had taken its toll. They selectively replaced previously wet drywall on two soffits where a plumbling leak had occurred a few years ago. They repaired an area where a washer had leaked on the ceiling from above. And they drywalled half of one side wall. They also fixed tape that had become loose on the remaining drywall. Member Comments: After they finished the garage looked new again. All we needed to do was have it painted. Before they fixed it up it looked like a mess. They are three brothers who make a good team. Joe and Adrian are expert craftsman and their work shows it. The repair where the washer had leaked was very difficult and when finished it was perfect. They aim to please and are very pleasant. They were very professional, showed up on time and did a great job. We had our work done in phases as another trade did some work after they exposed the plumbing. After the demo they took all the old drywall away than Chris kept in contact with me to make sure they finished as soon as possible. Once the plumber finished they came back the next day and hung the drywall. I could not have asked for better service. I believe they were in their late twentys to early thirties with over ten years experience. Personally I liked that because they are in the "grow their business" stage and aim to please. Member Comments: I was referred to Oceanside Drywall by a friend of mine who’s had work done by them in the past. Joe came out as scheduled for an estimate and I hired them to fix my living room ceiling. They repaired multiple patches in the ceiling. They also said that the old ceiling had nails, so they went through and put all new screws. They resurfaced the entire ceiling and then put a new texture. They promised if we didn’t like it, they would match our old texture. Once we saw it, we loved it! It took 2 days and the cost was $800. We decided to call them back and have them do all 3 of our bedrooms too. They scheduled it and that took another 2 days and cost $800. They were so friendly and very, very clean. Member Comments: Because of a referral from a friend, I called Oceanside Drywall for an estimate to remove the popcorn from the ceiling of three of my bedrooms. My call was promptly returned within the hour by Joe, the owner. Although he was busy working on another job, he was nice enough to fit me in for an estimate on his way home the next day. He was personable, friendly and professional and his prices are very reasonable as well. I have an older home which always needs something done and I appreciate the care he took and the creative application of the texturing. He and his crew were always on time, something that is rare with contractors, in my experience. Also they left the rooms spotless each night. As an added bonus, Joe saw a small area that he thought needed to be patched. He patched it and sprayed it to match the existing wall and you would never know there was any defect previously. Everything looks beautiful..I love the new ceilings! Oceanside Drywall is a top notch company in my view, and I have already recommended them to friends and I will definitely use them myself in the future.
